The late Mr Colin Day commenced practicing in the Riverina in the early 1960’s before teaming up the mid 1960’s with the late Mr J. A. Y. Denniston to form “Denniston & Day Lawyers.” Mr Denniston retired in the early 1970’s and Mr Phillip Day (current Principal) joined his father in 1984 following his admission.
Originally in Baylis and then Tarcutta Streets, the practice relocated in 1996 to Fitzmaurice Street where we are currently located within 100 metres of the Wagga Wagga Court House.
Mr Galva Nitschke joined the practice as a consultant in 1995 until he passed away in 2005. He was one of the region’s longest-serving practicing solicitors who achieved more than 50 years service in law. Mr Stephen Groch commenced practicing with Denniston & Day in 2000.
More recently Mr Graham Burmeister has joined the practice as a consultant in 2008.
